This gallery showcases a collection of adult and subadult Scandinavian Herring Gull ssp argentatus, aiming to present a sample of the variation in the wingtip patterns. Some other younger birds have been included in case they are of interest to someone out there. All photographs were taken in Finnmark, Norway in April 2023, by Guillermo Rodríguez. It is important to note that the lighting conditions, often with snow underneath, may have resulted in the birds appearing darker and more contrasted than their actual appearance.
